Sacco Foundation strives to create pathways out of domestic violence, sexual assault, and homelessness by educating and empowering families to achieve safe and stable lives free of the fear of abuse. What Is Domestic Abuse?
Domestic violence is a pattern of abusive behavior used by one partner to gain or maintain power and control over another intimate partner. Domestic violence can be physical, sexual, emotional, monetary, or psychological actions or threats to influence another person. This includes any behaviors that manipulates, intimidates, humiliates, isolates, frightens, terrorizes coerces, threatens, blames, hurts, injures, or wounds someone.
